Hang Mua Viewpoint is one of the places most visitors to Ninh Binh make time for. Ha Long Bay's limestone towers, but standing in rice fields instead of the sea — and only 90 minutes from Hanoi.
Before you go: Go at opening or late afternoon: the steps are exposed, and the top platform is narrow enough that a queue forms by mid-morning. Entry is an estimated 100,000 VND.
