Sung Sot Cave is one of the places most visitors to Ha Long Bay make time for. Around 1,600 limestone islands in the Gulf of Tonkin, seen properly only from a boat that stays out overnight.
Before you go: Every day boat stops here between roughly 11am and 2pm. Overnight boats often visit outside that window, which is a genuine difference in experience.
