Hieu Village Waterfall is one of the places most visitors to Pu Luong make time for. A nature reserve of terraced valleys, bamboo waterwheels and Thai stilt villages — the quiet version of Sapa, four hours from Hanoi.
Before you go: The rock is slick where the water runs. Strongest in the wet season and reduced to a trickle by late winter.
