Cat Cat Village is one of the places most visitors to Sapa make time for. Terraced valleys under the Hoang Lien Son range, and the easiest place in Vietnam to spend two days walking between highland villages.
Before you go: Walk down and take a motorbike taxi back up — the return climb is steep. Best early, before the coach groups arrive from town.
