An art-deco station completed in 1938, with three steep roofs echoing the peaks of Langbiang and original stained glass in the booking hall. A short heritage line still runs tourist trains 7km out to Trai Mat and the mosaic-covered Linh Phuoc Pagoda.

An art-deco station completed in 1938, with three steep roofs echoing the peaks of Langbiang and original stained glass in the booking hall. A short heritage line still runs tourist trains 7km out to Trai Mat and the mosaic-covered Linh Phuoc Pagoda.
Da Lat Railway Station is one of the places most visitors to Da Lat make time for. A pine-forested hill town at 1,500 metres, built by the French as an escape from the heat and still the coolest city in Vietnam.
Before you go: The heritage train runs to a fixed timetable with a minimum passenger count, so check departures on arrival rather than assuming. The station itself is free to walk around.
