Datanla Waterfall
A waterfall in a forested gorge a few kilometres south of the city, reached by an alpine coaster or a walking path, and the site of most of Da Lat's commercial canyoning. The upper falls are the tourist attraction; the lower system is where the abseiling happens.

Datanla Waterfall is one of the places most visitors to Da Lat make time for. A pine-forested hill town at 1,500 metres, built by the French as an escape from the heat and still the coolest city in Vietnam.
Before you go: If you go canyoning, use an operator with certified guides and proper equipment and check what your insurance says. There have been fatal accidents here with unlicensed operators.
