Xuan Huong Lake is one of the places most visitors to Da Lat make time for. A pine-forested hill town at 1,500 metres, built by the French as an escape from the heat and still the coolest city in Vietnam.
Before you go: Walk the loop early — the mist that sits on the water at dawn is the best thing about the lake. Pedal boats are available, and are as slow as they look.
