Hmong King's Palace is one of the places most visitors to Ha Giang make time for. The northernmost province in Vietnam, and the country's best road trip: three or four days of limestone plateau, hairpin passes and border villages.
Before you go: On the road between Yen Minh and Dong Van, so it costs no detour. Small entry fee, an estimated 20,000-30,000 VND.
