Lung Cu Flag Tower is one of the places most visitors to Ha Giang make time for. The northernmost province in Vietnam, and the country's best road trip: three or four days of limestone plateau, hairpin passes and border villages.
Before you go: It is a 40km detour from Dong Van and takes half a day return. Worth it more for the ride and the border villages than for the tower itself.
